What’s inside

One SKILL.md (the playbook) + one starter template. A preview:

Minimal Testimonial Carousel

When to use

  • You have genuine customer quotes but they currently sit in a dense grid nobody reads
  • A landing page needs social proof that fits a minimal design instead of a wall of logos and stars
  • One strong testimonial deserves the spotlight, but you have several and want visitors to see more than one
  • Your current carousel auto-plays so fast visitors cannot finish a quote, or has so many controls it looks like a cockpit
  • You want testimonials that work on a phone, where a grid of cards collapses into an endless scroll

Workflow

  1. Collect real quotes only (input: your customer feedback → output: a vetted quote set)
Gather quotes from real customers — support emails, reviews they posted, survey answers, call transcripts — and keep each quote attached to a real name, role, and company. Aim for 3–6 quotes; fewer than three is not a carousel, more than six is a slideshow nobody finishes. Edit only for length and clarity, never for meaning: cutting filler words is fine, inventing praise is fraud. If a quote needs heavy rewriting to sound good, it is the wrong quote — pick a different one or go without.
  2. Give each quote one slide (input: quote set → output: slide drafts)
Each slide carries exactly four things: the quote itself (one or two sentences, trimmed to what a visitor can read in about ten seconds), the speaker's name, their role and company, and optionally one small photo or company mark. No star ratings, no metric badges, no "verified buyer" ribbons — the minimal carousel earns trust from the words and the attribution, not from decorations. If a quote runs longer than two sentences, cut it to its strongest sentence; the full story belongs on a case-study page, linked from the slide.
  3. Design the quiet frame (input: slide drafts → output: carousel layout)
The frame around the quotes stays constant and calm: one large quote in a readable type size, generous white space, and controls so quiet they nearly disappear — small previous/next arrows and a row of dots or a "2 of 5" counter. The quote is the only thing that changes when the slide changes; the layout, type, and spacing never shift. Nothing else on the page should move at the same time — a carousel next to an animated hero is two voices talking at once.
