AI Phone Caller

Brief it, script it, the AI calls — you get the summary log

Make your AI place real phone calls for you: write the call brief (who, why, hard lines), a phone script with objection branches, the AI calls identifying itself as your assistant, and you get a summary log with commitments and reference numbers.

AI Phone Caller

When to use

  • You need to call a business but don't want to: rental-car company to add a baby seat, store to check if an item is in stock, ISP to cancel without the retention maze
  • Booking or changing appointments (dentist, car service, restaurant) where the website doesn't offer it
  • Negotiating or cancelling a subscription (Adobe, gym, telecom) where the phone rep has more power than the website
  • Any call in another language you can speak poorly or not at all — the AI handles the conversation, you get the summary
  • Following up on something that needs a human voice: a delivery exception, a billing error, a warranty claim

Workflow

  1. Brief (input: your task in plain words → output: call brief)
Write the brief before anything else: who to call (business name, number), why (one sentence), the desired outcome (book / cancel / ask / negotiate), your hard lines (max price you'll accept, dates that work, things to never agree to), and a must-not-say list (no card numbers, no passwords, no personal details beyond what's needed). A vague brief makes a vague call — "call them about the bill" is not a brief.
  2. Script (input: brief → output: phone script with objection branches)
Write the script: opener (who the AI is calling as, and that it's an AI assistant calling on your behalf), the main ask in one sentence, then objection branches — the 3–4 most likely pushbacks and the response to each. End with a close: confirm the outcome, get a reference number or name, and state next steps. The script is a playbook, not a cage — the AI may adapt wording, but never the hard lines.
  3. Call (input: script → output: the call)
The AI places the call and follows the script. It identifies itself as an AI assistant at the start, stays on the brief, uses the objection branches when pushed, and never crosses the hard lines. If the rep asks something outside the brief, the AI says it needs to check with you — it does not improvise commitments.
  4. Log (input: call → output: summary + commitment log)
After the call, write the log: outcome (achieved / partial / failed), what was said (key points, not a transcript), commitments made (by either side, with dates and reference numbers), and follow-ups needed (with who does what by when). If the call failed, the log states exactly where it broke and what to try next — a different number, a different ask, or you calling yourself.
