Take Canvas quizzes and play Wordle with a browser agent
An educator tested Comet: it solved Wordle in four tries and took over the screen to complete Canvas quizzes, but built an incoherent Canva slide deck.
- What They Did
- Dr. Michael Lomuscio tried Perplexity's Comet browser, whose built-in assistant takes over the screen, moving the mouse, typing and clicking. For Canvas, he made a basic Algebra course and asked Comet to build a multiple-choice quiz. Then he switched to student mode, and Comet read and answered the quiz without human help.
- How It Went
- Comet solved Wordle in four attempts. In Canvas it wrote three algebra questions and entered them in the quiz builder on its own, then took the quiz correctly. Its Canva slide deck was a jumble of text boxes.
- Worth Knowing
- Comet's other results were mixed: it scraped crossword answers from the web, failed at Connections, and made two Spotify playlists instead of one. The Canvas segment starts at 14:55 in the video.
Try it yourself with Perplexity Comet
Open [Wordle or another puzzle site URL] and solve today's puzzle, telling me each guess and why you chose it. Stop when the puzzle is solved or you run out of tries, then summarize how it went. Do not log in, submit anything, or change any account settings without showing me first and waiting for my okay.
Do this with a skill.
These AI Services Market playbooks do this exact job.
