One SKILL.md (the playbook) + one starter template. A preview:

Apricot Ink Marketing Deck

When to use

  • You are pitching a product launch and want the deck to feel warm and human instead of corporate-blue
  • A campaign recap needs slides that read as crafted, not templated, without a designer's help
  • You are presenting brand or packaging work where a hand-drawn touch fits the product's personality
  • A small business needs a pitch deck that stands out in a stack of identical slide templates
  • You are building a marketing deck for a creative, food, lifestyle, or artisan audience

Workflow

  1. Gather the story (input: product + campaign facts → output: slide outline)
Write down the facts the deck must carry before touching any design: what is being marketed, who it is for, the one claim the audience should remember, the proof behind that claim, and the call to action. Turn those into a slide outline of 8–12 slides — title, problem, product, how it works, proof, offer, next steps. If a fact is not confirmed, mark it as "verify" and do not let it onto a slide yet.
  2. Set the apricot palette (input: slide outline → output: color system)
Build a small palette and use it everywhere: a warm apricot as the primary accent, a deep warm brown or charcoal ink for text, a cream or soft off-white background, and one muted secondary (sage or dusty terracotta) for charts and callouts. Apricot carries emphasis — headlines, key numbers, dividers — never full-slide backgrounds, which wash out text. Check contrast: body text must stay dark-on-light, always.
  3. Sketch the ink doodles (input: color system → output: doodle set)
Draw or generate a small set of simple hand-drawn ink doodles that match the deck's subject: arrows, stars, circles, underlines, and a few subject doodles (a leaf, a cup, a spark, a speech bubble). Keep them loose and consistent — same line weight, same ink color, no fills. Reuse this one set across all slides; a new doodle style on every slide looks messy instead of charming.
  4. Build the slides (input: outline + palette + doodles → output: full deck draft)
Lay out each slide with the same grid: headline at the top, one idea per slide, plenty of white space, doodles as accents in margins and around key points — never behind body text. Keep body copy short: a headline that states the point plus 3 bullets at most. Charts and numbers use the palette (apricot bars, ink labels) so data feels like part of the deck, not pasted in from elsewhere.
