Acid Agency Deck

A pitch deck that hits like the work itself.

Builds a bold agency pitch deck in a disciplined acid-green/black system — oversized type, strict two-color rules, and proof slides that carry the argument even when forwarded as a PDF.

What’s inside

One SKILL.md (the playbook) + one starter template. A preview:

Acid Agency Deck

When to use

  • You are pitching an agency's services to a client who sees five identical pitch decks a week
  • Your agency's work is bold and the deck should feel like the work, not like a template
  • You need a pitch that lands in a 20-minute meeting and survives being forwarded as a PDF afterward
  • You want one unmistakable visual system — acid green, black, oversized type — applied with discipline across every slide
  • Your current deck is a wall of small text and stock photos that nobody remembers after the call

Workflow

  1. Find the one sharp claim (input: agency capabilities + client brief → output: pitch thesis)
Distill the pitch to one sentence: what you will do for this client, and why you specifically. "We make brands people notice" is a slogan, not a claim. "We will relaunch your checkout flow and lift completed purchases" is a pitch. Everything in the deck must serve this sentence; anything that does not gets cut.
  2. Set the system (input: pitch thesis → output: design rules)
Fix the system before laying out a single slide: acid green on black as the primary pairing, one oversized display typeface for headlines, one plain face for body text, generous black margins, and a rule for how images are treated (full-bleed, duotone, or cropped hard). Write these rules down and follow them literally — the look works because it is disciplined, not because it is loud.
  3. Structure the argument (input: thesis + proof → output: slide outline)
Order the deck as a pitch, not a brochure: the client's problem (in their words), your point of view, the idea, the work (proof, not promises), the plan, the team, the terms. Aim for 10–16 slides. One idea per slide. If a slide needs a paragraph to explain itself, it is two slides or a speaker note.
  4. Lay out for impact (input: outline → output: full deck)
Set headlines at oversized sizes — big enough to read from across the room — and let type be the visual, not decoration around it. Use black space as aggressively as you use green. Put proof on its own slides: one result, one number, one line of context. Keep body text to short lines; the deck is a backdrop for the presenter, not a document to be read silently.
  5. Make the forward work (input: full deck → output: send-ready PDF)
Read the deck end-to-end with no presenter in the room: does the argument still land when it is forwarded as a PDF? Add short captions, slide titles that state the point, and a final slide with the ask and the next step. Export, check the file on a phone screen, and fix anything that only worked at presentation size.

Acid Agency Deck — Pitch Template

One client = one deck. Lock the claim and the system before laying out slides.

The pitch

Client: {client name} | Meeting date: {date} | Decision needed by: {date} Pitch thesis (one sentence — what we will do, why us): {sentence} The ask: {what you want them to agree to} Next step: {concrete next step + date}

Design system (fixed before layout — follow literally)

Slide outline (10–16 slides, one idea each)

Proof log (real work only — no invented results)

If a result lacks permission to name the client: anonymize honestly ("retail client, 2025") — never invent a name.
