# No App Store, Only CarPlay Apps

Apple didn't build an App Store for HomeView. The hub ships with 15 curated Apple apps and runs third-party audio and video through a CarPlay-like system from a paired iPhone or iPad — no YouTube, Netflix, or Disney+ at launch, and an iPad can't even set the device up.
